How to update recipient maxRows in OpenEmm?

When you receive the error message “Unexpected error while locating mailing list associated with mailing in question” sometimes from the HTTP call to OpenEMM. Then you need to update the ‘recipient.maxRows’ property from the “emm.properties” file available in the below location.

Location: “/home/openemm/webapps/openemm/WEB-INF/classes/emm.properties”

Note:

  • If the resources of the server are limited then limit the database size otherwise it can take more CPU time.
  • So, You need to increase the server configuration proportionately to increase maxrows value.

 Suggestion:

  • Suggested server configuration, for example for 30 Million is 24GB RAM and 8 core processor.
