You can document the progress made on SRs by updating the SR. To update, click on the Update button on the View screen of the SR.

USER PERMISSIONS NEEDED

  • To update SR owner/ To close and change the status of SRs: Update SRs
  • To Reassign SRs: Assign SRs

From the view screen of a SR, click the appropriate button for the following actions:

  • SR Status—Changes the Status of the SRs to the value you set.
  • Save – Saves any changes you make on the Description or the Resolution fields.
  • Resolve—Resolves the selected SRs and marks it as Closed. A SR can also be closed by updating the SR Status drop-down value to Closed. The Resolution field has to be mandatorily updated for resolving an SR.
  • Reassign—Allows you to reassign an SR to another user.
  • Update – Allows you to make updates to a SR.
